Zoho boost workplace collaboration with launch of new tech

Global technology company Zoho Corporation announced the launch of its new collaboration experience, Trident, alongside improved collaboration technologies to enhance workplace communication.

Zoho Workplace is now a full-featured business mail and cloud office suite that combines collaboration, productivity, and communications tools to offer users a seamless experience.

Zoho’s latest innovations are designed to provide businesses with a central work hub or virtual headquarters to operate collaboratively and seamlessly through applications.

Gibu Mathew, VP and GM of Zoho APAC, said that “Zoho is well-positioned to be a growth partner for businesses,” and the company’s goal is to enable businesses to unify their work to a point where the line between apps disappears.

Zoho Workplace has grown 38% year-over-year in APAC and now has over 16 million users worldwide. The latest additions and updates include Zoho Trident, which is a brand new collaboration, productivity and communication experience that combines mail, messages, audio/video calls, calendar, tasks, and more into one place.

The company has also introduced a new AI-based grammar tool, BluePencil, which brings writing suggestions and a text editor that can be used on any third-party webpage.

Furthermore, Universal Drag & Drop functionality lets users save time and improve their experience when working across collaboration channels. Zoho has also added Mobile Device Management capabilities and OTP-restricted Emails to its workplace suite, focusing on security.

Additionally, TrueSync has been added to Zoho Workdrive so that hard drive storage limits are no longer a concern, creating a mirror of all WorkDrive files and folders on the desktop.

Overall, Zoho’s latest enhancements aim to offer businesses easier ways to communicate across channels, reduce tool-ambiguity, and improve an organisation’s overall digital adoption.
