VinFast Delivers 400 VF 3 Electric Vehicles Across Indonesia Within Two Months of Launch
Just two months after its launch, VinFast has handed over 400 VF 3 electric vehicles to dealers and customers across the Indonesian market.

VinFast has successfully delivered 400 VF 3 mini electric SUVs to Indonesian dealers and customers just two months after the model’s official debut, underlining its rapid production capabilities and growing influence in Southeast Asia’s electric vehicle market.

Positioned as a key offering in VinFast’s all-electric lineup, the VF 3 is aimed at accelerating the company’s green mobility ambitions in Indonesia. With its bold, compact design and affordable price point, the VF 3 has quickly captured the imagination of drivers across Vietnam, the Philippines, and now Indonesia. It’s not just a car—it’s a movement, inviting users to showcase their unique identities through a stylish and functional mini SUV.

To celebrate this milestone, VinFast hosted a large-scale handover event at the Motomobi News Karnaval on April 19–20. One hundred VF 3 units were ceremonially delivered during the event, which attracted widespread interest from the automotive community. The main exhibition area featured both original VF 3 models and custom variants designed by customers, transforming the space into a visual showcase of automotive individuality.

Customer creativity was a key highlight, with organisers honouring the most innovative VF 3 design—fueling enthusiasm among enthusiasts and further cementing the VF 3’s status as a symbol of personal expression.

New owners lauded the VF 3 for its eye-catching aesthetics, practical features, and strong performance relative to its price range. Many benefited from attractive ownership perks such as cash back promotions and free charging via VinFast’s partner-operated V-GREEN network until March 1, 2028.

Event attendees had the opportunity to test drive the VF 3 and take part in various customer-focused engagement activities. This hands-on experience helped strengthen the car’s appeal among potential buyers, especially those seeking an affordable entry point into electric mobility.

Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, stated: “The fact that VF 3 vehicles are now on Indonesian roads just two months after its launch is a powerful testament to VinFast’s implementation capabilities, commitment, and determination to provide Indonesian consumers with green, intelligent, and affordable mobility solutions. The VF 3’s presence in Indonesia not only marks a significant step in VinFast’s journey to conquer the market but also inspires the creation of a sustainable future and ignites a spirit of innovation among Indonesia’s modern and dynamic youth.”

With a single-charge range of 215 kilometres, the VF 3 is ideal for daily city driving. It comes in four standard colours—black, white, red, and grey—as well as four vibrant two-tone options: yellow, green, blue, and pink, all paired with white roofs. Inside, the VF 3 is equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a luxury-inspired gear selector behind the steering wheel.

Priced at IDR 230,130,000 (On-The-Road, Jakarta), the VF 3 is backed by a 7-year or 160,000 km vehicle warranty (whichever comes first) and an 8-year unlimited mileage battery warranty. The first 1,000 customers are also eligible for a cashback offer of up to IDR 37,850,000 and other promotional incentives.

VinFast is rapidly expanding its Indonesian footprint, with 21 authorised dealerships and 11 Amarta-operated partner stores expected to launch in 2025. The company plans to establish 500 authorised service centres nationwide within the year.

Beyond sales, VinFast is building an integrated green mobility ecosystem through partnerships with companies like GSM (an all-electric taxi operator) and V-GREEN (a charging infrastructure provider). With an ambitious goal to deploy 30,000 charging ports in Indonesia by the end of 2025, VinFast is well on its way to leading the country’s transition to sustainable transportation.
