Telekom Malaysia Bhd last December announced that it intends to move its business in he country to a single operating entity, TM Technology Services Sdn Bhd (TM Tech) by the 31st of December this year.
The move is in an effort to improve operational efficiencies, streamline processes, and simplify customer touchpoints.
Consumers will still have access to all-in-one connectivity and digital content, while businesses and the public sector will be able to use TM Tech’s cloud and data centers, cybersecurity and smart industry offerings.
Included in the reshuffling are Unifi, TM One and TM Wholesale, among others.
According to TM Group CEO, Imri Moktar, “Consolidating these businesses into one operating entity will allow us to serve our diverse customer segments better and deliver their needs more quickly.”
Moving forward, Telekom Malaysia Bhd will become an investment holding company for TM Tech.
