Celebrating Visionary Leadership: Nominations Now Open for ACES Awards 2025 in the Philippines

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – 16 April 2025 — The Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability (ACES) Awards has officially launched Wave 2 nominations for its 2025 edition, calling on Filipino companies and leaders to share their transformative journeys and purpose-driven achievements.

As one of Asia’s premier platforms recognising leadership with impact, the ACES Awards continues to shine a spotlight on organisations that are redefining success beyond profits. Now in its 12th year, the awards celebrate purposeful leadership, innovation, and sustainability across the region.

With 174 awards earned to date, the Philippines remains the most celebrated country within the ACES community—a testament to the nation’s unwavering commitment to inclusive growth, sustainable business practices, and visionary leadership.

Globe Telecom Inc. stands out among past winners, clinching ten awards including four-time “Industry Champion of the Year” honours—more than any other Filipino company. Its consistent recognition highlights the pioneering spirit and societal focus at the heart of many local enterprises.

“The Philippines shows us that leadership means lifting others as you grow,” said Dr. Shanggari Balakrishnan, President of the ACES Awards and CEO of MORS Group. “Filipino organisations don’t just tick ESG boxes – they live them. Their passion for people, planet, and progress is unmatched.”

Despite complex headwinds in recent years, leaders in the Philippines continue to drive change with resilience and empathy. The ACES Awards serves as a regional platform not only to honour these changemakers but also to connect them with a broader network of forward-thinking leaders across Asia.

The 2025 awards ceremony is scheduled for 27–28 November, shortly after COP30 in Rio de Janeiro. Host cities currently under consideration include Bali, Taiwan, and Malaysia, with the final venue to be confirmed in June.

Organisations can submit nominations across three categories: Individual Leadership, Corporate Excellence, and Corporate Sustainability. Wave 2 entries close on 30 April, while Wave 3 will continue through June.

Filipino enterprises—whether emerging SMEs or established industry leaders—are invited to step into the spotlight and showcase their contributions to a better future. Nominations can be submitted at www.acesawards.com.
