Digital Edge, a rapidly growing digital infrastructure provider in Asia, and Zenlayer, a leading edge cloud service provider, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the Pacific Telecom Council Annual Conference 2023. This collaboration aims to deliver high-performance edge cloud services to East and Southeast Asia.
The partnership will provide local cloud and service providers with a comprehensive digital hub for multiple edge services, facilitating global interconnectivity, reducing costs, and enhancing application performance.
Digital Edge is dedicated to closing the digital gap in Asia by constructing and managing state-of-the-art, energy-efficient data centers with extensive connectivity options.
Partnering with Zenlayer will bolster Digital Edge’s presence in the rapidly expanding cloud ecosystem by introducing a range of new cloud and interconnection options, including bare metal cloud, cloud on-ramp, and multi-cloud access for its customer base.
Digital Edge’s growing geographical coverage aligns perfectly with Zenlayer’s cloud and network infrastructure. With additional data center capacity becoming available in Jakarta, Manila, and Osaka in 2023, Digital Edge will be well-equipped to support future cloud ecosystem expansions in these locations.
