Deloitte bags 2022 Digital Innovation of the Year award

Keeping up an impressive lead in the field of innovative and disruptive technology, Deloitte managed to win its second consecutive Digital Innovation of the Year award at The Digital Accountancy Forum & Awards, upping the company’s total tally of the prestigious honor from the Accountant and International Accounting Bulletin, to four awards overall.

For 2021, Deloitte Omnia’s Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence (AI) Module, a comprehensive, structured framework, and enabling system that establishes credible verification and control tests for responsible innovation garnered recognition for the company, amidst a world wherein the rapid implementation of AI in business has warranted better oversight.

By identifying biases and cyber risk areas to determine how algorithms match up against Deloitte’s own parameters of fairness, transparency, accountability, security, reliability, and data privacy protection, Omnia’s Trustworthy AI Modul rates AI trustworthiness.

The Module’s merger of objective experienced professionals and its framework technology results in a unique offering for organizations that protect stakeholders and enhance long-term AI value via scaling.

Deloitte & Touche LLP Digital Transformation & Innovation US National Managing Partner Jon Raphael spoke of how the award highlighted the group’s continuous efforts in the field of “purpose-driven investments in technology” and their constituents, empowering organizations to fully and safely utilize AI.

“While scaling AI to generate long-term value, organizations need to stay ahead of and mitigate expanding AI risks. Omnia’s Trustworthy AI Module pushes the boundaries of innovation with technology that identifies model biases and cyber vulnerabilities to help organizations assess whether their AI meets trustworthy and fairness standards,” said Deloitte & Touche LLP and US Audit & Assurance Trustworthy AI leader Brian Cassidy.
