SINGAPORE, 2 January 2025 – Following their recent merger, Crystal Learning Pte. Ltd. and Lingo School of Knowledge have streamlined their language course offerings to create a sharper, more efficient portfolio designed to enhance the overall student experience.
The realignment allows each language to be managed exclusively by either Crystal Learning or Lingo, reducing overlap and enabling the schools to concentrate their expertise. This approach ensures more regular class start dates across all language offerings, delivering improved scheduling flexibility for new students without compromising the integrity of small-group learning.
Classes will continue to be conducted in intimate settings, limited to eight students, and will remain accessible through in-person sessions at the Orchard centre, online, or via hybrid formats.
Refined Course Offerings
As part of this consolidation, the schools have divided the languages as follows:
Offered exclusively by Lingo School of Knowledge:
Vietnamese (formerly under Vietnoi)
Indonesian (formerly IndoSlang)
Thai (formerly Sawadee)
Japanese (formerly Taiyo)
Malay (previously offered by both schools)
Offered exclusively by Crystal Learning’s specialist schools:
Korean – Hana Korean
Mandarin – Yi Mandarin
English – English Express
Prospective students interested in Korean, Mandarin, or English will be directed to Crystal Learning’s specialist institutions for those languages.
No Disruption to Teaching Quality
Current students will not experience any change in teaching arrangements. The existing team of experienced educators remains in place, and both institutions reaffirm their commitment to personalised, small-group instruction.
Alex Lim, Centre Director at Crystal Learning, shared, “By combining our strengths and focusing on a unified portfolio, we can offer students more frequent opportunities to start classes while maintaining our commitment to high-quality, small group teaching. Whether you’re learning Vietnamese, Mandarin, Korean or any of the other languages we teach, our goal is to make language learning more accessible and impactful.”
With the new year prompting many individuals to explore new skills, this refined approach ensures that language learners can access more structured and flexible learning paths—tailored for both personal and professional growth.
