AI and cloud service provider CloudMile, recently rolled out its “Free Cloud Migration Programme” to help businesses manage costs and enhance efficiency in their operations.
Enterprises have found that digitalisation is a key way by which to remain competitive in a market hit hard by the pandemic. Consequently, they adopted digital technologies to streamline processes, cut costs, and improve overall efficiency.
CloudMile’s cloud migration offer helps companies move their data from on-site environments to cloud warehouses such as Google Cloud BigQuery. It also does assessments of enterprise IT infrastructure, provides solutions, and executes migration plans.
Beyond cloud migration, the program also gives annual assessments and optimization solutions to help businesses stay on track with their digitalisation journey.
The programme allows enterprises to convert capital expenditures into operating expenses, instead of paying for manpower and hardware for internal servers to store data.
IDC data from 2020 revealed that using Google Cloud Platform helped businesses boost IT operational efficiency by 41%, increase developer productivity by 19%, and decrease IT infrastructure costs by 26%. This clearly indicates digitalisation as a driver of productivity and remote work efficiency.
Over 700 companies in the Asia-Pacific have availed CloudMile’s services, enabling them to milk cloud technologies including data, AI, cost optimization, hands-on tech support and services, and cross-platform integrations.
