Global digital telco leader Circles has earned two distinguished awards at the Asian Telecom Awards 2023, celebrating its groundbreaking initiatives among Asia’s top telecommunications companies.
Abhishek Gupta, co-founder of Circles said, “We are honoured to receive two accolades from the Asian Telecom Awards 2023. This recognition is a strong testament that we are delivering the digital telco experiences that people want and need. It also reflects our agility in rapidly bringing innovative services that deliver greater convenience and value to our customers.”
Circles Life Singapore’s travel lifestyle app, Jetpac, scored the Travel Product of the Year title. Launched in 2022 to enhance post-pandemic travel experiences, Jetpac champions travel freedom with its seamless e-SIM activation, unmatched global roaming rates, and enticing travel perks. Within the 4 months post-launch, Jetpac saw over 10x growth in sign-ups, with more than 50% being new customers.
Circles Life Australia nabbed the second award for Marketing & Brand Initiative of the Year, thanks to its ‘Big Freeze’ campaign. Amidst mobile plan price increases by other leading telcos, Circles Life took an ‘untelco’ approach, freezing their prices for 18 months to aid Australians in adapting to rising living expenses without sacrificing digital experiences. The campaign led to a 28% sales surge and a considerable influx of new customers from major competitors.
“We are pleased to confer Circles’ digital telco two Asian Telecom Awards. Circles’ innovative and customer-centric marketing approach has truly set them apart from the competition, and it’s no surprise they’ve earned the Marketing & Brand Initiative of the Year and the Travel Product of the Year awards. We can’t wait to see what they come up with next,” says Tim Charlton, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief, Asian Telecom Magazine.
